Limitation of the API

I have a short question, is there any documentation available regarding scalability or latency.

For example:

• calls/minute
• calls/month

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find anyting in the dwd or wetterdienst documentation.

we currently don't have any analysis results available regarding latency. There's basically no limitation from our current implemented providers.

Honestly I also don't have to much knowledge regarding latency measurements. What kind of answer would you expect regarding latency? (e.g. daily data 60 calls/minute)

ok, no problem, I wrote the DWD an E-mail asking for limitations, if they answer I will post their reply here for future references.

My intention was to find out if there are any limitations downstream, for example if I would built an application which requires weather updates every few seconds for thousands of users could be to much to handle for the dwd server which is why they might have some limitations in place.

On the other hand, my current understanding is, that the .NOW data is updated only on hourly basis, which means I would only need to request 1x every hour the data of each station (worst case) which should'nt be much of a problem propably.

I received a feedback from the DWD support team, there are no limitations or restrictions in place!
