There are a lot of Electron templates out there and this one is nearly 10 years old. This was always meant to be simple but in 2025 this one is showing its age and is not really relevant anymore (maybe it was never relevant) due to the evolution of web technologies. Express is largely dead and frameworks like Hono are in favor. I am on the fence if this should continue or be archived. If it continues, I will move it to Hono with an Angular frontend. I am opening this up for discussion, if anyone has opinions please share.

This template has saved me quite a time. If it continues with Hono and Angular, it would still save me quite a time in the future. I would appreciate this change.
