Use the require("sdk/tabs"); from addon SDK to write a Freedom link that runs each freedom module in a separate tab. You can communicate with the window using "window.postMessage" in a content script and DOM events, see: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/SDK/Guides/Content_Scripts/Communicating_With_Other_Scripts
