Thank you so much for providing such a useful product! I've been using Gitpod Classic, and now Gitpod Flex, to host trainings in bioinformatics for public health for those who have little familiarity with IDEs and VCS. During the migration from Classic to Flex, we ran into a major pain point. The Classic allows for the user to interact with the IDE (VS Code) through the browser but Flex requires the user to have VS Code locally installed. In many systems, the connection between VS Code and Gitpod gets blocked and there is no workaround available other than returning to the Classic service, where this problem doesn't happen.
Is the possibility of recreating this Classic behaviour on the Flex product being considered? It would facilitate the use of the service to those who are in controlled networks.
Thank you!
