Bun keeps quickly developing and maturing, making the need for constant updates crucial. This project seems to be unfortunately heading to a deprecated state.
Before thinking about a New Maintainer, a few questions should be asked:
Are there still advantages to a bun specific adapter vs running adapter-node using bun? I have heard a lot of people mentioning websockets, but with bun 1.2+ heading in the direction of high node compatability, it becomes a valid question whether maintaining a seperate bun adapter is worth it. Deno for example has such a light translation layer to Node, that the adapters have been deprecated.
SvelteKit will be a node-focused project for the foreseeable future, so I think a decision to either deprecate this project OR search for new maintainers would be perfectly timed for right now.
Love and massively Appreciate your effort @gornostay25 , but we would also love for this project to go on.
