Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I did some searching, and didn't find any existing feature (i might just be stupid and missed it 😂).. that said, it would be very useful to be able to select and act upon multiple items at once.
Describe the solution you'd like
For example, it might be good to implement something like VISUAL mode from vim, or something similar. that way if you want to add a group of songs to a particular playlist you do not have to act on each song individually.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I haven't considered alternatives at the moment, but i would be happy to hear if there is something out there for this 🙏

i've began to look into the requirements for implementing this. seems like there are a few changes that will be required to the views or possibly a new view type... still don't have enough details in my research.
At the moment I am seeing if Queue or Listview has restrictions for implementing multi-select the IPC should be pretty simple, but there would require caveats to commands that can be taken while in multi-select mode, and I need to understand what those are...
I will continue to update this thread as I find more information (between work and a kid i will likely move slower than the average person)
