When I start ncspot the first time in terminal, via ncspot the application opens, but when I play a song nothing plays. The play icon turns to a pause icon, as thought it were starting to play, but then the time stays at 0:00 and there is no audio.

If I then quit, and reopen ncspot, then I am able to play songs and things work as expected.

Or if I open ncspot in a second window, then I am able to play songs and things work as expected.

System (please complete the following information):

  • OS: debian
  • Terminal: gnome terminal
  • Version: ncspot 1.2.1
  • Installed from: snap

Note as its starting, a message briefly displays:
Testing for pulseaudio
