PDF side panel horizontal scroll only shows upon vertically scrolling all the way down

The side panel in IX appears to have a percentage width of the window's size. If the window is of medium width (not triggering the mobile responsive layout), there is a condition where the PDF is not fully displayed horizontally. The horizontal scroll is then only visible if you scroll all the way DOWN on the PDF.

I noticed this as well. This is a front-end issue (cc @konzz ), although I guess we can live with it for a while.
