Unable to search for a person appearing exclusively in archived photos

The bug

We need to have a way to display people that appear exclusively in archived photos. Not being able to see "archived" people leads to the following issues:

• When correcting facial recognition, It is possible to accidentally add multiple "People" entries for the same person since they don't show up in the "People" page to be found and selected
• If you have multiple "People" entries representing the same person, it is not possible to merge them because you can't find and select a person that only appears in archived photos.
• It's not possible to change an archived person's feature photo because no photos show up for them (0 assets).

I found this closed issue (#3443), but it doesn't really address these particular problems.

Reproduction steps

1. Archive all photos of a particular person
2. See that the person can no longer be found with browsing or with search
3. See that this hampers much of the features surrounding updating featured photos for that person, merging with another person, etc.

Additional information

Potential workarounds are to temporarily un-archive the photos involved, but it would be nicer to be able to have the option to display people in archived photos.

Just adding this here because it's rather directly related to an issue already marked 'closed'...

I used immich-go to upload all my images in already-named folders as albums. So all my images are in albums. No faces or people are showing up in 'explore'.

Also running into this issue. I prefer to have albums dedicated to people and then archive the photos so they're not in the main photos feed. However, this means they no longer exist in the people view. Having the setting to toggle on viewing archived people in photos would be fantastic.

Fully Agree. When all the pics of a person are archived, it just displays "Person (0)" and then nothing. And when performing a merge with that "Person (0)", we can see "Person (1)" but the previous pictures of that person are not shown.

Suggest add a setting to the people list to show people who was in archived photos.
Or Add a new column list to show new people list who was in archived Albums.

I checked the past records and found that some users have suggested removing the people in the archived photos from the people list. This is reasonable based on their needs.

However, the people in the archived photos appear in the people list, which is inconvenient for finding some people.

Will consider adding a setting or a new column in the people list in future updates to display the people list of archived photos? Thanks
