We have been a bit inconsistent with the structure and naming, so I'm proposing the following:

  • deprecate the build.yml in favor of pipeline.yml
  • change the branches naming convention to release/<major-version>
  • Tag the releases and write the following release details: Detailed changelog (e.g. the one generated by GitHub), breaking changes and documentation changes
  • Move documentation to docusaurus to make it easier to version and update
