The query (derived from an example in the Zenodo search guide): https://zenodo.org/search?page=1&size=20&q=size:%5B10000000%20TO%201000000%5D
returns "No results".
In similar cases, usually en error message warns that the upper bound of the query is smaller than the lower bound.

As it is, the error message is ambiguous and misleading.
