How to use with a shared work space in the parent of the project?

I'm trying to adapt https://github.com/dpc/fedimint/blob/master/flake.nix and hit a problem. I have a "utilities" workspace that I share across many projects, and I can't compile it. The structure is:

This is a project naked, that is only deps to test how setup all.

It's worth noting that evaluating a flake can only see sources that are staged with git, and the derivation builder is sandboxed (on Linux) meaning you are probably not going to be able to read the contents of /Users/mamcx/Proyectos/IronAge even if ./IronAge is staged (as a symlink).

The best suggestion I can offer is turn IronAge into a flake and add it as an input to the rest of your project (remember to run nix flake lock --update-input ironage after making changes to that directory). Then add a preConfigure phase which does the equivalent of ln -s ${inputs.ironage} ./IronAge. This should allow the builder to be able to access the additional sources since they will be present in the Nix store
