that one is being caused by enum to_schema setting a :values key on the hashie mash when initializing a trax definition. (the values method I've use extensively when compiling schemas). could maybe not use mash and create a better type there, but it's been so long I don't remember what all functionality from Hashie::Mash I was using to begin with
