When loading large audio contents, it may take a few seconds until they are loaded into the WaveSurfer module. During this period the provided area is just blank and some unpatient users may leave the site. Is there a way to add a placeholder to that area so that I can inform users that the content currently is loading? |

@katspaugh I really think it would be a nice feature to provide a default waveform to render whilst the audio is loading and being processed. I've gotten around this on a project I've been working on I've had to use two different wavesurfer instances, one to generate the waveforms and one to show some default waveforms and be recreated when it loads. I'm looking at contributing this feature, do you recon you'd be in favour of it? |
