Contribution but I need a mentor

I want to contribute to keras but I need a mentor in terms to tell me on what to work on and look at my PRs in timely manner. Previously when have tried to contribute to an open source project I have always encountered the problem with timely communications about the work i do.

Many open source contributors will be willing to help but no one will be able to tell you what to work or assign work to you. That's a hard fact. You have to go through the project jiras or issues list and pick what best suits your expertice.
W.r.t timeliness, it becomes your responsibility to reach to contributors, one or many to get your work reviewed. In genral, active contributors respond promptly. Also, you need to understand that your work will be automatically be picked by its criticallity during the release cycle.

Currently, many operators in the OpenVINO backend of Keras are not supported. Perhaps you can try to improve the support for these operators.
The operators I know include things like the fori_loop and slice_update.
