The most recent plyer version on PyPI (2.1.0) is over a year old. Could you please cut a new release for PyPI? This was done in #717 about a year ago and seems like it was very easy.
The specific reason I am asking for this is that there are a number of improvements in master relating to Android 12. For example accessing GPS coordinates is broken without #665.

Note: There are several Kivy projects that are actively being prepared for release at the moment. They have priority, and this will need to wait for those.
