Quotes-App

A simple quotes web app.

Create your own quotes app

Step 1: Use this repository as template

Create a GitHub account if neccessary.

Step 2: Name your app

You can name it "Quotes-App" as well 😉.

Step 3: Search for index.html and open the file

Step 4: Click on the "Edit this file" icon

Step 5: Copy & Paste everything within the HTML comment

<!-- is the beginning of an HTML comment and --!> declares the end. The following code block is all you need:

<blockquote>
  <p>...</p>
  <footer>...</footer>
</blockquote>

Step 6: Commit your changes

Step 7: Go to your repository settings

Step 8: Head over to "Pages"

Step 9: Select a branch and click on "Save"

In most cases it is the main branch.

Step 10: Done!

Your page should be soon available for the URL: http://YOUR-GITHUB-USERNAME.github.io

Step 11: Use your own (Sub)-Domain

This is optional for intermediate techies.
