index.html file not reading the published exhibit.json file

Hi team,

Im interested in generating a minerva story for a recent publication we have, mostly for educational purposes.

I ended up installing and running the app from a cloned github repo https://github.com/labsyspharm/minerva-author/ rather than the executable.

I created a really quick draft of a story and the preview looked good at least to me.

But when I published the story and tried to load the index.html file, it seems to just load an empty screen

All the files are hosted locally on my laptop right now. Is there something im missing to publish the story?

Hi @ninning, I'm happy to help make a Minerva Story. If you are still working on this issue, would you please share your index.html file, either in this issue, or in response to the email I have just sent you?

Thank you, I did end up getting it to work for the most part. Unfortunately it was awhile ago and I don't remember the exact steps i took. I remember it was an inconsistent error, sometimes I got publishing to work on github pages and sometimes it just showed a blank.

I have the index.html file hosted right now on this github repository and the web visualization does function for the most part.

Although I think theres still some issues even with this one, for example the scale bar doesnt seem to load.
