Question for stable tag vs latest dated tags in AZL repo

Hello

We observer there is a stable tag and a preview tag in AZL tree for 3.0

3.0-stable
3.0-preview

And also dated tags :
3.0.20250202-3.0
3.0.20250206-3.0
3.0.20250227-3.0

The stable tag 3.0-stable and preview tag is currently aligned with 3.0.20250206-3.0, whereas the latest dated tag is 3.0.20250227-3.0

Questions:
What is your policy or criteria for updating the stable and/or preview tag ?
What would be your recommendation for downstream users to consume : would it be the stable tag or the dated tag ( which is often with recent updates which are not in stable tag yet)
