How exactly did you try it?
It's right click on a playlist label, then follow the dialog.

What do you want to drag to iTunes and from where?

(please find a way to not include original messages when replying via email, this adds a lot of noise)

Yes exactly as you describe below, as I used to do before
thanks, right click on the play list and follow the dialogues

Thank you

So it does work that way?
If not, what exactly happens? Is a file written in the selected directory?
What happens if you import that into iTunes or another player (VLC for example)?

I can confirm the playlist export is broken somehow (with 2.6-alpha at least), not sure if that's what you experience:

  • select playlist, click export, type filename, select desired extension
  • the newly selected extension is not appended
  • in case of no selection in the typed filename, it seems no file is written at all (at least not in the desired taret directory)

If it can help ,
I had the same issue .

When I untick
"Preferences">"Library">"Use relative paths for playlist export if possible"

I can export and import crates to m3u playlists
( everything in absolute paths that is )

Mixxx 2.5.0
Qt 6.8.2

I'm afraid we're lost in translation here.

@gesacyprus please list the exact steps you took to export.
In the file popup dialog, do you see that the extension you selected is being added to the filename you type?

Do you see an exported playlist file?
Please attach an example file.
