Compiling fail for following the build instructions #2735

I was trying to build with Windows 7 / XP from on my VM.
That's what I'm wondering it could be missing to install SDL smth like that or maybe it is.

Also I installed SDL package from msys2 and then build it didn't work at all.

Same question is here #2461 (that happens I'm just asking because duplicate exists)

I just tried a build again on my Win10 box with a fresh clone and... nope, SDL2 build breaks. I put a build log in #2461 and updated the title.

cmake --build . 2>&1 | % ToString | Tee-Object D:\TIC80Build.txt captures it all nicely.
