We're proud of our work at NGINX, but we need your help.

In this "issue," we'd like your help evaluating our documentation to:

  • Install NGINX
  • Get started with different NGINX products
  • Quick start with different NGINX products

We'd like to hear from people who are "new" to NGINX, people who have little or no expertise in our software. We want to know if our documentation can help you.

However, we assume that you have the following level of knowledge:

  • Access to a Linux system. (In many cases, we also need people who have access to BSD)
  • Access to the command line
  • Knowledge of some basic commands. Our documentation assumes that you know bash. The commands that we use should work as well in derivative shells, such as zsh and fish.

With your evaluations, we'd like you to answer the following questions:

  • Did our documentation give you enough information to:
    • Understand the prerequisites
    • Install NGINX (or the noted NGINX product)
    • Understand that NGINX was actually working when you finished the Get Started / Installation process

If you find errors, we encourage you to:

  • Set up a bug report in this repository
