automatic ssh key generation

Description

Hey i am currently using Home-manager and i would like to automate the ssh key generation in my home manager configuration meaning that when i first start my home manager it looks if i have the specific key already or if it has to be generated. (meaning i can assign multiple keys). And there should be multiple settings like file name key type and comment(ssh email). This seems to be such an important feature i thought it already exists maybe someone can point out to me on how to do that if not i would be interested in helping building this feature.

keys are not something one wanna automate IMHO ? how would that work ? At least I dont see it as a good candidate for HM.

I mean shouldnt there atleast be the possibility to generate or pull your keys from somewhere? I mean home manager would be perfect for it and i dont want to setup ssh keys everytime. Or am i mistaken?
