The current version has quirks to it that prevents us from using it in production. The version we use in production is not running as a Docker container.
The specifics of why the latest version is not usable, I'm not sure of. @KariRudjord will have to explain it.
I'm not sure about when we'll have time to work more on this, and whether or not it makes sense to wait for a new version of PIP (based on the work done with/by Dedicon++), but not being able to run the system in Docker is making things a bit more difficult when integrating with the rest of our systems, so I'm opening this as an issue.

Note: I've build a docker image for the current version we're using (which is not the latest version of the braille scripts): nlbdev/pipeline:2018-working-pip. So we might soon be able to use a more recent version of Pipeline 2 for everything other than the braille scripts.
