Description

When people with existing Slack accounts can't get in, they sometimes resort to creating a new account. This creates inaccurate member data, makes it hard to find people, and discourages overall brigade continuity.

Proposed solution

  • Add instructions in the Slack 101 google doc on how to recover your account.
  • Add instructions in the OO Operations Handbook on how to:
    • Help someone recover their account (point them to Slack 101 guide)
    • Issue a one-time invite (via link/email)
    • Deactivate an account
