In some situations it would be 'nice to have' to listen to the last radio messages again.
Applications could include:
rewind to the last emergency calls
listen to the weather forecast again
avoid to miss certain information like regular traffic warning/ forecast/ etc.
I see the problem to find the current channel of the ship radio if the recording should match the ship radio. It could be reduced to a separate (set) of channel(s) like 10, 16. This way it should be easy to record the radio messages and provide them in a list like old telephone answering machines did.

The decoded files could be presented with a simple D3.js timeline chart. If one clicks on a item in the timeline the corresponding audio file would be played in the browser.
I did created some table of the channels with the bandwidth needed.
