Settings changes not reflected in user interface

Globaleaks version: 4.14.3

Problem: Changes to the settings are not being reflected in the User Interface. The following fields do not show any effect on the presentation page after being changed: Description, Homepage Title, Presentation, and Whistleblowing Button. However, changes to the Logo and Project Name do appear on the presentation page.

I started working on this instance after it was already installed, so I am unsure if any modifications were made beyond what Globaleaks allows. However, I doubt there were any additional changes.

Turns out it was a problem with having multiple languages and the changes being applied to one that was not the default.
