The page title should be updated when a new message arrives (for when that tab isn't the active one)
Likewise, if the chatbot menu is closed and a new messages comes in, there should be a badge/some other means to notify that there's a new message

Hey @asuwebdesign@kaylachumley@andrew-ronaldson - @thatblindgeye went through and did an awesome accessibility audit. This was one of his call-outs. I can update the page title. However, I'm going to need input from you on how we can add a badge or some other means of notifying users that there's a new message if the chatbot menu is closed. Let me know if you need a separate ticket to track design - happy to do whatever works for you.
Discussed design options with team. Notes from discussion:
What if MVP uses cute circle and does update an aria-live region with new message but doesn’t touch any other parts of page yet?
Sighted user and screenreader user will both have a cue
Toasts in Round 2 maybe during Q1 - after conversation with Lisa to standardize across products
Red vs. blue:
Andrew suggested non-status red as an alternative to blue
Erin - blue was harder to notice
Go with red for now
