This is done now.

The GO-CAM data in Chado and the models used by the gocam-viz widget now come from the new location. The data there is updated three days a week and is now automatically included in Chado during the nightly load.

I've also updated to a newer version of the gocam-viz widget so it looks a bit different. It's a beta version and it doesn't include the latest fixes. I'll switch to newer versions as they are released.

There was a new release today:
https://github.com/geneontology/wc-gocam-viz/releases/tag/v1.1.1-beta.1

PomBase dev will be using that version from tomorrow morning.

Do we know if this version fixes the issues we reported?

It's probably the version of the viewer they presented in the GO-CAM call today. It fixes the biggest issues. It has distinct arrows for all the different types of relationships, all going in the right direction and displayed in the legend.
It also changes the evidence display to a specific icon, making it more distinct than the 'E' from the previous version. Hovering over the icon shows the source of the evidence, and clicking on the icon links to the PubMed page of the reference. Unfortunately, they also noticed that the new version doesn't display the evidences for the molecular activities anymore, so they have to fix this, and they are also planning some other improvements

@ValWood There are still some issues you opened that haven't been closed:

I don't know if that means they aren't fixed/finished or if they just need someone to call them done.

I can make the announcement. It shouldn't take too long

Great. When we're ready to announce, it will take 30 minutes or so to re-release the main site with the GO-CAMs enabled.

I'll add a news item on the front page based on the announcement for the mailing list.
