Packaging hooks for reuse

We have some standard hooks (pytest_runtest_makereport etc) that we want to reuse across several projects. Instead of copy-pastying the conftest.py contents, is there any way to package these hooks for importing later?

Packaged pytest plugins shup hooks as part of plugins one may promote via the pytest11 entrypoint
