The documentation wants me to add ${ARDUINO_SDK_PATH}/hardware/tools/avr/utils/bin to system path. This path does not exist on 1.6.12 or 1.8.2 Windows distributions.

Try the same path but without the utils portion. Keep the bin though.

Please see #180 for complete support of the project, including support of newer Arduino SDKs which treat paths differently.
