Miscellaneous troubles (sorting order, height, Internet Explorer)

hi, this is my portfolio, and it's wordpress with quicksand. Has been a helluva mess to create, but i still have some bugs to nail.

Chrome:
"video" and "portfolio" page: the sorting order is misplaced despite correct position and size. Check the same page with FF for an example

Firefox (and IE8)
when an item is containing a video the height of the calculated container size gets doubled, As to say: if the box where the embed is is 300px tall, the container size gets a 300x300 height. Putting fixed height and overflow:hidden gave no result.

Internet Explorer 8
Objects aren't moving, just fading in...

i know this is a lot of stuff, but any help is welcome :)

issue #1 has been solved giving a fixed height to the #list container...
