On Android & iOS SDK, there's a minimumTileUpdateInterval property which is used to throttle the tile update network requests. This is so important when we're using RasterSource or VectorSource with third party urls that can't be updated too many times (when zooming, panning or even during camera animations). I think that can be quite easy to implement and pretty useful !!
