I like to think it’s awesome because the people who make it strive for it to be that way. We believe in Web standards. We believe components shouldn’t churn with frameworks. We believe everyone should be able to access the Web, and that a solid foundation is important to building accessible applications. We believe in interoperability. We believe UI libraries should be easy to use — maybe even a little fun to use. But the real reason it’s awesome is that folks like you come in, try it out, and end up using it in real life projects. Sometimes you notice a bug and report it. Sometimes you even fix it yourself and contribute it back. That’s what really makes it awesome. The users. You were who this software was written for. |

Why are there no other pure Web-components libraries with the
Tree
element for example? Not mention things likeSplit Panel
