Hello there! 👋

My name is Michael Novotny. I've been at this development thing for 20+ years now. In that time, I've discovered that I love contributing to projects, creating things that solve my own problems, and then sharing them in the hopes that it can help someone else too.

Money isn't the goal here... I am fairly compensated, but if I do ever win the lottery, I would love to do OSS full-time! That would, indeed, be my dream job.

Honestly, dollar amounts aside, just knowing I helped someone with something they're working on is enough for me. I'd love it if I knew I just helped making 10 people's lives easier, happier, or better with anything I've done.
