Web IDE accesses to main branch in git by default

I'm not sure it's right to not give the user a choice of which branch the git user needs to interact with

Not all users use the default main branch name.
Repository users may have other branch names as well

In this case, the Web IDE only interacts with the main branch by default and does not offer a choice to the user. As a result, the user may have problems with git working in web ide.
