Currently, external links like GitHub repositories and social media links open in the same tab, which may interrupt the user's experience on the Tailwind CSS website. Ideally, external links should open in a new tab by adding the target="_blank" attribute.

This prevents users from being navigated away from the current page and ensures a smoother browsing experience. I'm happy to contribute a fix for this issue, if you agree with this approach. Please assign the issue to me, and I can handle it.

Hey! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not feeling strongly about this. One could argue that it also interrupts the experience if a new tab opens when you click on stuff. Personally I often open links like this in a new tab on my own. Nevertheless I think we don't need to make changes to this right now, appreciate your input though!
