I think it could be made using the pip package awscli-plugin-endpoint which allows to easily (said the authors) access third party S3 providers.
I'm too much of a beginner with HASS to know how and if it could work though.

Hey, thanks for the Feature Request. I am open for a Pull Request. If you can test i with other providers, please also add a note to the README on which Providers you have tested it.
