Customize trace id generation

How can I go about customizing trace ID generation? In particular I would like to add a timestamp prefix, e.g. make them ULIDs. I'm a bit lost in the sea of Subscriber, Registry and Layer.

What do you mean when you say trace ID? IIRC tracing doesn't have a concept like that, are you also using tracing-opentelemetry and is that maybe what you're talking about?

Yup makes sense, I think https://docs.rs/opentelemetry_sdk/latest/opentelemetry_sdk/trace/struct.Builder.html#method.with_id_generator should do it. Thanks!
