not clear which are videos and which are pictures

Describe the the feature you would like

images on many pages are actually videos, but nothing visual to indicate this on web browsers I have tried (Safari and Chrome on Mac). On safari videos don't play, on chrome they play but no indicator bar to show how long video is, or to move around in it

Motivation and impact

not clear that videos are available to watch, and difficult to use effectively without navigation options displayed
