Using one set of min/max value ranges for QC across a very large extent is problematic for all indicators. Consider creating multiple value ranges for locations where we can get reasonable values from meteorological data. We would QC values separately at each of those locations.
*For coastal locations, we might have to nudge coordinates inland to ensure they are really within the spatial domain! Trial and error will show if this is really a problem.
