At what point do we decide that a dataset has become "legacy" data? Do we have a "data lifecycle" plan for SNAP's holdings?
For instance, the CMIP5 project ended in 2014. Granted, the derivative products (bias-corrected, downscaled, etc) took many more years to be published. But is there a point when we consider CMIP5 to be "old" and drop it from our holdings in favor of newer datasets?
