Describe the package

Having the latest Mesa fixes from this thread https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/12781 makes games like Indiana Jones run and the commits stop GPU hangs. Thx in advance

New to bazzite but...is this update going to happen soon? I see the same journalctl described in the mesa issue for crashes related to Black Myth Wukong and The last of us....many games are encountering this issue with the new 9070xt card. All games that encounter this issue are basically unplayable

Mesa has been updated to 25.0.2 now (at least in testing), Cyperpunk 2077 doesn't hang for me with a 9070 after updating

Hey @bmbob is there a chance you can help me out with installing the test mesa drivers? Thanks

I won't recommend it if you're not prepared to deal with new issues, it may not be long before it's in stable too.
But here is the link to the guide, change the rpm-ostree rebase command to fit your edition and use testing for channel.

thanks @bmbob... so far the beta channel seems to have fixed the issue with no major bug. I still have severe problems with the sleep function. It doesn't work at all...for a moment I thought the two issues (game crashes and sleep not working) were caused by the same driver bug...but it's not...guess I'll have to solve another problem

Yeah, sleep issues are usually tied to the motherboard in my experience. Try updating BIOS, and if that doesn't help do a search for a workaround for the MB/vendor (fixes are often not dependent on which distro).
