Support for Image Formatting in Word

• Image Borders: Support for customizing border color, thickness, and styles (e.g., dashed, double line, etc.).
• Image Effects: Enhance support for built-in Word image effects, such as outer shadow, inner shadow, reflection, glow, soft edges, and 3D effects.
• Image Layout: Support for text wrapping options (tight, square, through, etc.) and alignment settings (center, left, right).

Support for Embedding Excel and PPT Objects in Word

• Support for embedding Excel worksheets (OLE objects) rather than just inserting them as images.
• Allow inserting and editing PowerPoint slides, not just as static images.
• Enable unioffice to parse and export embedded Office objects, preserving the integrity of Word documents.

These enhancements would make unioffice more complete, improving compatibility with complex Word documents and reducing difficulties for developers working with advanced document formats.

Image Layout: UniOffice already supports various text wrapping and alignment options. Here are two examples of how to set them:

Image Borders We have added support for image borders in the latest release:

https://github.com/unidoc/unioffice/releases/tag/v2.1.0

Please have a look at SetBorder() function for anchored image, it allows setting of color, thickness, and border type.

We will continue working to add support for Image Effects in the next versions.

Regarding Support for Embedding Excel and PPT Objects in Word - it seems complex with current implementation of office document schema but we will check it again in the next versions of UniOffice.
