You're not allowed to type max once you've deleted it. You can only type numbers. To get max back, you click reset. Then you lose all your progress.

VisIt3.4.2.

If you enter "-1" and hit tab or return you get max back. What? isn't that obvious? 🤣

Thanks Eric! That is good to know. But yes, not obvious. I am in favor of some kind of change, either a note in the window itself or allowing users to write letters and dealing with the consequences.
