Web component shadowRoot

It was mentioned here that the Vitest Locator would support the shadowRoot, but I can't find anything in the docs regarding this and I can't get it to work within my tests. Has this been added yet?

If it has been added should it allow for a web-component that is rendered within a React component wrapper?

It wasn't mention in the link your posted, but shadowRoot is supported only with the mode: open
