In the eu-aiact extension, the link to the AI Act should be updated to http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1689/oj.

coolharsh55 added a commit that referenced this issue Jan 27, 2025
- updated reference in `references.json`
- since respec references are included verbatim in all HTML, which is
  then used by respec js to render the references, this change appears
  in all HTML (the actual changes in references will not be shown until
  respec export HTML is used)
- reported by @DelaramGlp in

EU AI Act extension

  1. In the definitions, "this regulation" -->"EU AI Act"

  2. In the definitions, "AI System" --> "AI system"

  3. 2.2. AI-Act ---> AI Act,

  4. 2.5.
    AI Roles describes --> describe
    developing, providing or deploying, and using --> developing, providing, deploying, or using

  5. 2.7. These statuses refect ---> reflect

  6. 2.8. The intro might need a bit of re-wording, as CEMarking and PostMarketMonitoringSystems are not assessments per se. This might work better: "Compliance with requirements of the AI Act, e.g. affixing CEMarking or PostMarketMonitoringSystems, requires various types of assessments".

  7. 2.8.10 & 5.1.91. definition of TestingRealWorldConditions should be updated:
    Temporary testing of an AI system for its intended purpose in real-world conditions outside a laboratory or otherwise simulated environment, with a view to gathering reliable and robust data and to assessing and verifying the conformity of the AI system with the requirements of the AI Act and it does not qualify as placing the AI system on the market or putting it into service within the meaning of the AI Act, provided that all the conditions laid down in Article 57 or 60 are fulfilled

  8. 2.11.5 & 5.1.86. definition of SubstantialModification:
     set out in Title III, Chapter 2 ---> set out in Chapter III, Section 2

  9. 3.3. NonHighRiskAISystem: The definition is not very well-aligned with the AI Act. In the Act, non-high-risk systems are those applications that are listed in Annex III, but do not pose a significant risk of harm to the health, safety or fundamental rights of natural persons (see Article 6(3) and Article 80).

Thanks @DelaramGlp - can you help with these, please? Would be quicker as I have 5 hours of teaching (+prep) to do today.

For the definitions, if you change them in our spreadsheet, I'll sync those changes in RDF and HTML (its just running scripts 100,200,300 in order). For the HTML, the contents are in this JINJA2 template - you can make a PR or submit a patch or just send me over the file. If you change the extension to .html you can see the text - the list of concepts, taxonomy tables, and other stuff python+respec produces isn't included but I think this should work for the changes you have mentioned.

The link to the Jinja2 template is not correct. This is the template, right?

Ah sorry I copied the spreadsheet link twice there. Yes that's the file, but use the dev branch for this one
