Mouse Pointer & Ability to Use Virtual Display #3875
-
When creating a new virtual display using an iPad Air, the mouse point with a circle around it will not go away and you cannot actually use the new virtual screen. The horizontal flip works and content displays correctly. But, the up/down axis is still flipped for the mouse. So, moving your mouse up goes down and vice versa. There were a few brief moments when I gained ability interact with the window I dragged over into the virtual display window. But, after that nothing. Basically, I can see what I dragged there. But, that's it. I can't use the display or any window in it. Using a 2021 MacBook Pro on 15.1.1 and a 4th Gen iPad Air. I searched the known issues and discussions. Couldn't find anything like this. Please help! |

When you have the circle around the mouse, it signifies that you are not on the virtual screen (which has its image flipped) but hovering on the Sidecar screen which shows the flipped content. If you right click and use the warp feature (or use command+click) then you can warp the mouse over to the virtual screen. It is recommended to change the display layout in a way that the virtual screen (which is streamed to the Sidecar display) is located where you want your iPad to be. |
