Add feature to conatrol fan speed settings for LG gaming monitors

Hello!

In LG premium gaming monitors (e.g., 27GN950, 27GP950), there’s an option in the hidden service menu to adjust the fan speed (FAN target Duty). However, the setting resets when the monitor is powered off. Manually adjusting it with hardware jog dial is quite inconvenient.

Could it be possible to develop a feature to either save the fan speed setting permanently, or control it through software?
Since the service menu detects the fan speed, I believe this might be achievable.

This would only be possible if the fan speed could be controlled or queried via DDC (or some other means). If you have this, then you should be able to already control the fan using the app's CLI features as it lets you send custom commands.
