Attack Surface Analysis for grouper/flatuikit

  • How Flat UI Kit Contributes: Flat UI Kit integrates and distributes Bootstrap 3. By choosing to build upon this specific, outdated version, Flat UI Kit directly introduces the attack surface associated with Bootstrap 3's vulnerabilities into any application using it.
  • Example: Bootstrap 3 has known XSS vulnerabilities in components like tooltips or modals. If Flat UI Kit utilizes these vulnerable components without patching them, applications using Flat UI Kit become susceptible to XSS attacks through these vectors.
